James Street Gallery
Unleash your creative spirit or wander through the beautiful gallery and celebrate the works of artists with disability at James Street Gallery.
James Street Gallery has supported local and studio artists for almost 30 years in Geelong, and while its name has changed over time, its purpose of providing a welcoming and accessible studio for artists with disability, hasn't.
With artists working in-house to representing artists in more than 140 exhibitions, James Street Gallery is a hub of activity and imagination.
If you're an artist with disability, our friendly staff can help to set up your space or mentor you to uncover your creative vision. Whether it be drawing, painting, screen-printing, ceramics, papier-mache, or bookwork, there’s a place for you at James Street Gallery.
The street-front space of our studio hosts a gallery where artists exhibit their work. We hold 11 shows a year, including five exclusively by James Street Gallery studio artists.
Come and experience art with us at 4 James Street Geelong.

Rachinger Gallery
The Rachinger Gallery is a vibrant, contemporary art space that showcases a dynamic program of exhibitions by both emerging and established artists, arts groups, schools, and artists with disability.
It proudly adorns the walls of the Eastern Hub Community Centre in East Geelong and was named in honour of Norman Rachinger, former Karingal President and art teacher.
The gallery complements the creative work produced in Eastern Hub's Art Studio, offering a platform for the diverse visual arts community in Geelong.

artX
artX is an exhibition and competition that embraces diversity and inclusion and celebrates amazing talent.
The exhibition runs every year in locations across Victoria and features artworks by artists who identify as living with disability or mental health challenges.
Individual competitions are run annually in Geelong, Mornington, Northcote, Wyndham, Colac and Warrnambool.
