Annual Reports
2024 was a transformative year for genU, marked by strategic mergers and infrastructure investments that have strengthened our national footprint. Despite the challenges facing the sector, our focus remains on delivering meaningful impact to the people and communities we serve. Strategy 2030
As a profit for purpose organisation, our strategic ambition is that genU will set a new benchmark for client experience and outcomes, while transforming our operating model to ensure enduring financial profitability. This will allow us to reinvest into new and innovative services to deliver exceptional, accessible, and tailored services and supports that enrich lives and foster genuinely inclusive communities.
Over the next five years we will continue to expand our services across the country and with a workforce that is valued and capable, so they can grow, develop and succeed. Everyone will be motivated by our purpose of enriching lives through connections, supports and opportunities.

Founded in 1952, genU grew from a small play centre into one of Australia’s largest care providers, dedicated to building inclusive communities nationwide.
